Book Review 1

The book I have read recently is an action packed adventure by Rick Riordan. This book is called "The Battle of the Labryrinth." This book is over 200 pages long. It is about a young boy named Perseus Jackson, or Percy for short. He is what you would call a demigod, or half god half human. He is one of the rarest demigods alive. He is the son of one of the Big Three gods, including Zeus, Hades, and Posiedon. He is the son of Posiedon. The book starts off with him trying to live a normal life, trying to go to a normal school. But everything chandges when the school is attacked by a mythological creature. He is saved by his best friend Anna Beth, and they head on to the demigod camp. Everything is back to square one, except one thing has changed. The Titan Kronos is nearly revived!! It is up to Percy and his friends to stop him from reviving, and to do that, the must croos the labyrinth. This exciting tale is for all ages, so go out there and read it!

Animal Farm

George Orwell's "Animal Farm" was an exciting novel. It talks about animals who rebel and take over their home, much like the Russian Revolution. George Orwell uses an allegory to compare the book with the Russian Revolution. The main plot of the book is back in old, farming times at Mr. Jones farm. A pig named Old Major is the leading figure at the farm, and calls a meeting. He talks about a dream where the the animals were free from the tyranny of man. He says a revolution is near, and the animals should prepare. He dreamnt of a utopia, and it was up to the animals to make it happen. Later he dies, and the animals get inspiration. they lock the doors, kick the farmer out, and the revolution is successful. This exciting story then takes off from this point on. I strongly encourage anybody to read this novel about the "Animal Farm."

Spring Break 09

This year my spring break was absolutely boring! Most of the week I spent my time working or sitting on my hind end. There was only one day where I actually did somerthing. On Wednsday, I went roller blading in Little Rock. It was really fun. But, other than that, I did absolutely nothing.
